That’s right… Dr. Devin is back in the office.

Over the past couple of months, I’ve been overwhelmed by the kindness, prayers, cards, meals, gift cards, messages, and encouragement from our patients, friends, and community. Thank you. Truly.

There are moments in life where words just don’t feel big enough, and this has been one of those seasons for me and Kylie.

As many of you know, Lori passed away two months ago today. She loved this office, loved our patients, and poured her heart into helping people alongside me for nearly 20 years. The support you’ve shown our family during this time has meant more than you will ever know.

After taking some time away, I’m officially back in the office and focused on caring for our patients again. Many people have asked if I planned to bring in a fill-in doctor long term, but the answer is no, I’m back and looking forward to serving this community again personally.

Helping people heal has always been more than just a job to me. It’s a calling. And honestly, getting back into the office, seeing familiar faces, hearing your stories, and helping people feel better has already been healing for me too.

A Small Personal Update

Starting June 2nd, I’ll also be beginning a 90-day carnivore diet, focusing on meat, eggs, and some dairy only.

Why? Because I believe nutrition matters, inflammation matters, and the body has an incredible ability to heal when we remove many of the processed foods that have become normal in today’s world.

There are a lot of myths surrounding carnivore eating, but many people report improvements in inflammation, energy, digestion, joint pain, blood sugar control, mental clarity, and overall health.

And no… contrary to internet myths, people don’t automatically get scurvy from eating meat. Historically, many cases of scurvy occurred when sailors were living on processed carbohydrates and preserved foods without access to fresh foods or nutrient-dense animal nutrition.

I’m looking forward to sharing some of what I learn along the way.

One funny request though: please don’t bring me treats or sweets for a while! I appreciate the love behind them more than you know, but for the next 90 days I’m sticking to the plan.

Thank You

Thank you again for standing beside me and my family during one of the hardest seasons of our lives.

I’m grateful for this community.
I’m grateful for this office.
And I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue helping people live with less pain and more life.

I look forward to seeing you soon.
